Job Title: Coordinator- Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Coordinator to support workplace inspection operations by managing inspection reports, tracking enforcement actions, coordinating documentation, handling public enquiries, and ensuring timely submission of reports to the Authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and ensure timely completion of all actions arising from workplace non-compliance cases.
• Handle public enquiries and complaints related to inspections, escalate issues to the Authority, and coordinate prompt responses.
• Review inspection findings and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SOPs.
• Attend meetings with the Authority and prepare meeting minutes.
• Manage inspection-related documents, including workplace lists, forms, letters, and records.
• Consolidate inspection reports and submit them within stipulated timelines.
• Prepare and submit inspection summaries, reports, and statistics to the Authority.
• Upload inspection reports, summary reports, supporting documents, and employer responses into the Authority's system.
• Ensure proper document control and record management.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 1 year of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) related experience.
Experience in enforcement, investigation, audit, or customer-facing roles will be an advantage.

Possess at least one of the following WSH qualifications:

1. Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (WSQ accredited)MSc in Safety, Health & Environment Technology (NUS)
2. Bachelor of Environment Occupational Health & Safety (University of Newcastle)
3. Bachelor of Science in Human Factors in Safety (SUSS)
4. Bachelor of Science (Health, Safety & Environment) – Curtin University
   Bachelor of Science (Hons) Safety, Health & Environmental Management – Leeds Beckett University

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good project coordination and document management skills.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
