Job Scope:
1) Conduct monthly Fire Safety inspections and submitting written inspection reports
Plan, coordinate and conduct half-yearly fire drills and table-top exercises
3) Develop, implement and review the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
4) Ensure all occupants are familiar with the means of escape located within the premises.
5) Ensure the occupant load of any part of any building does not exceed the capacity prescribed under the latest Fire Code at all times.
6) Conduct fire risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
7) Prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants of the premises.
8) Ensure that all fire protection systems are properly maintained and compliant.
9) Coordinate Fire Safety Committee meetings (where applicable) and maintain related documentation.
10) Liaise with SCDF for audits, inspections, and regulatory matters.
11) Prepare the annual FSM report and attending pre-certification renewal testing.
12) Provide training to the occupants in the event of fire or other related emergencies.
13) Supervise Fire Command Centre operators during fire incidents, and prepare and implement
Arson Prevention Plan for the premises.
14) Notify the Commissioner immediately upon the occurrence of any fire incident in the premises
15) Organize campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests and other activities to promote and sustain a fire-safe environment among occupants.
Requirements:
- FSM Certified
- Experience in FSM
