Responsibilities

• Perform vascular duplex ultrasound examinations, including:Carotid artery scansPeripheral arterial and venous duplex scansVisceral artery scans (e.g. SMA & Celiac artery)Surveillance scans for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), vascular grafts and vascular access
• Assist vascular surgeons during ultrasound-guided thrombin injection procedures.
• Perform treadmill studies, pressure studies and photoplethysmography.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy and confidentiality throughout examinations.
• Maintain high standards in equipment usage, consumables management and workplace safety.
• Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives and continuous education.
• Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to optimise vascular diagnostic services.
