Interior Designer - Part-Time

Company Description

We are a renovation main contractor with in-house carpentry, specialising in residential projects ranging from $30,000–$100,000. We work closely with homeowners to deliver thoughtful design, strong space planning, and smooth project execution — from concept to handover.

We’re looking for a creative and practical Interior Designer who enjoys both design work and real-world execution.

Role Description

• Meet homeowners to understand lifestyle needs, budget, and design preferences
• Develop concept designs, space planning, mood boards, and material selections
• Prepare design proposals, 3D visuals, and basic drawings
• Work closely with our in-house carpentry and project team to ensure designs are buildable
• Support sales presentations and client discussions when needed
• Manage design revisions and guide clients through the decision-making process
• Assist with site coordination to ensure design intent is carried through

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in residential interior design (Singapore market preferred)
• Proficient in SketchUp / 3Ds Max / AutoCAD (or similar design tools)
• Strong sense of space planning, materials, and detailing
• Good communication skills — comfortable dealing with homeowners
• Practical mindset — understands budgets, carpentry constraints, and site realities
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects
