Lab Technician / West (Shift Hours, 1 Year Contract, No Experience Required) - Part-Time

Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Medical sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Lab Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

Note: This is a 1-year contract position, convertible.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct various testing procedures, and review the processes and results
• Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all testing procedures assigned
• Ensure adherence/compliance to both internal/external guidelines (eg. GMPs, ISO regulations, etc.)
• Participate in the identification/resolution of quality-related matters on the production site
• Prompt the company’s operations team on any issues that could potentially affect the customers’ overall experience
• Participate in the company’s various audit processes and quality assurance procedures/checks, provided feedback when necessary
• Maintain the necessary equipment calibration, ensuring the laboratory's operational efficiency
• Ensure all laboratory operations are conducted safely/efficiently, complying to the necessary guidelines
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology or other relevant field of studies
• Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory working experience
