Role Summary

We are seeking 5 dedicated Livestock Truck Drivers to manage the transportation of livestock across various states in the USA. This role is critical to Client's operations, ensuring the safety, comfort, and health of animals in transit while adhering to stringent regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Operate commercial livestock trucks safely across long distances and in various weather conditions.
• Animal Welfare Monitoring: Utilize our advanced livestock monitoring systems to ensure all animals are healthy and meet specific requirements throughout the journey.
• Compliance and Sanitation: Ensure that each trailer is pathogen-free and meets all Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations before and after each shipment.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to uphold safety and operational standards.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with dispatch, facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driving License with a clean driving record.
• Proven driving experience in driving heavy vehicles; lorries or trucks.
• Must be fluent in English as you will be interacting with English-speaking customers and stakeholders throughout the United States.
• Physical ability to manage the demands of the job, including loading and unloading.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
