Lorry Driver - Part-Time

Responsibility
As a Lorry Driver, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient transportation of these goods to various locations. This position requires exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to ensure the quality and freshness of our products during transit.

Job Description
* Operate and maintain a lorry (delivery truck) to transport a variety of fruits and vegetables, both fresh and frozen, ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
* Need to do loading and unloading of produce onto the lorry, ensuring proper handling and securing to prevent damage during transit.
* Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Familiarize yourself with delivery locations and navigate using GPS or maps.
* Ensure that fruits and vegetables are stored and transported in a manner that preserves their quality and freshness. Report any issues or damage promptly.
* Coordinate with the warehouse or production team to ensure the availability of fruits and vegetables for delivery. Minimize discrepancies and ensure products are well-organized.
* Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with clients or receiving produce deliveries.
* Maintain accurate records of delivery activities, including receipts, delivery notes, and invoices. Collect payments when required and issue receipts.
* Perform routine checks on the lorry, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations. Report any mechanical issues for prompt repairs.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for both customers and staff. Conduct regular safety inspections and address concerns promptly.
* Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
* Able to work in pressure environment and need work under the sun.
* Need work at public holiday, weekend and overtime.
Working Location: PASIR PANJANG, 1ST trip will start at 6 am-630am

Requirement
*At least 2 Year(s) working experience and related field are required for this position.
*Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
*Must have a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
*Familiar driving on Singapore roads or able to use GPS
*Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
*Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
*Excellent customer service skills, including communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and teamwork spirit.
*Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
