Job Description - Marketing & Partnership Executive (6-Month Contract) - Part-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive, commercially driven, and relationship-oriented Partnerships Executive to support the acquisition, management, and delivery of strategic partnerships, community engagement, and marketing initiatives. The role will work closely with sponsors, running communities, and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful partnerships, execute marketing campaigns, and strengthen engagement with the running community while contributing to the company's commercial and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships & Sponsorship

  • Identify and develop new partnership and sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
  • Prepare partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, and commercial pitches.
  • Coordinate partnership discussions, negotiations, onboarding, and contract administration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners and ensure successful delivery of partnership rights and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute sponsor activations, marketing campaigns, hospitality programmes, and event initiatives.
  • Monitor partnership performance, prepare post-event reports, and identify opportunities for renewals and upselling.

Community Management

  • Support the planning and execution of community engagement initiatives, including training runs, partner activations, and runner outreach programmes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with running clubs, coaches, ambassadors, influencers, and community partners.
  • Coordinate community events and manage participant communications to enhance engagement and participation.
  • Gather community feedback and insights to improve future programmes and participant experience.

Marketing Support

  • Coordinate with the Marketing team on campaign planning, content development, digital promotions, and partner marketing activities.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, EDM, and event channels.
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral, presentations, promotional materials, and campaign assets.
  • Monitor campaign and partnership performance, compiling reports and insights to support future planning.

General

  • Maintain accurate records of partnership agreements, marketing activities, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Partnerships & Marketing team.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Marketing & Partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in partnerships, sponsorship, business development, account management, or a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Highly organised with excellent project coordination and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during event periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sports, events, sponsorship, marketing, or agency environments.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship activation and partner servicing.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects.
