Job Summary
Join Inchcape Shipping Services as an Offshore Project Specialist supporting coordination, logistics, vessel operations, documentation, HSE compliance, and stakeholder communication for international offshore projects in marine, oil & gas, FPSO, and renewable energy sectors.
Responsibilities
Coordinate offshore and marine project activities to achieve timely and efficient completion of project milestones
Monitor project schedules, logistics, and operational tasks to maintain progress and proactively resolve issues
Prepare and maintain accurate project reports, documentation, and trackers to ensure clear stakeholder review
Communicate and coordinate with clients, vendors, offshore crews, and stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables
Assist in implementing HSE compliance and operational support activities to uphold offshore safety standards
Support mobilization, procurement, and project execution to enable seamless offshore operations
Manage multiple tasks independently, prioritizing deadlines and deliverables to meet operational goals
Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Optic, and similar digital tools to create and maintain project documentation and reporting
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maritime Studies, Project Management, or related disciplines
1–2 years of relevant experience in marine, offshore, FPSO, shipyard, or energy projects is preferred
Understanding of offshore operations, logistics, or vessel coordination to support project activities
Familiarity with project documentation and reporting to ensure accurate information flow
Good communication and coordination skills to engage with diverse project stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Optic, and similar digital solutions to support project tasks
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Positive attitude with a problem-solving mindset to address project challenges effectively
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams across functions
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic offshore environment
Passion for the offshore and energy industry to drive engagement and commitment
