Part-Time Pantry Assistant (Mon-Fri, 4 hours/day)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the cook to plan and purchase food and necessary supplies needed to provide food service, ensuring sufficient quantity of food and in a timely manner.
• Practise safe food handling techniques in food preparation and storage.
• Responsible for cleaning the kitchen between meals, including putting away food for future meals, washing pots and pans, utensils and plates, and cleaning counters and tables.
• Assist in the distribution of food to the classrooms.
• Undertake any other adhoc duties or projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene or relevant Food Handling certifications
