Part-Time FCE Assistant cum Kitchen Aide

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with Food and Consumer Education (FCE) teachers to prepare materials and ingredients for practical lessons.
• Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining inventory, monitoring kitchen equipment and processing food ingredient orders with suppliers.
• Prepare and portion food ingredients for practical lessons while observing proper food hygiene practices.
• Clean the kitchen and check utensils after each lesson.
• Conduct stocktaking of food and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with school events when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a Statement/Certificate of Attainment for the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Food Safety Course Level 1 or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.
• Relevant experience in a school environment is an advantage. 

Duration/Working Hours: 

1 year - opt to extend for 2 years (Jan 2027 - Dec 2027) 

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 12:30pm, excluding lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays (Jun/Nov/Dec) and gazetted public holidays
