Part-Time Lecturer (School of Civil and Environmental Engineering - Undergraduate Programmes)

We are looking for experienced part-time lecturers in the following areas within the College of Engineering, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering – (A) Civil & Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Programme, (B) Maritime Studies Undergraduate Programme. 

Candidates should have a proven track-record in the area that they are teaching.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures and tutorials

• Prepare teaching materials

• Prepare, administer and grade continuous assessments and exams

• Student consultation

• Any other required duties, where applicable

Applicants should have extensive industry and/or academic experience, a passion for teaching and should preferably possess the following requirements:

Position (A) - Civil & Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Programme

• Professional certification in civil & environmental aspects or higher

Position (B) - Maritime Studies Undergraduate Programme:

• Professional certification in maritime aspects (for example Master Class 1 COC, etc ) or higher
