Research Officer (6 - Month Contract SGD 3500 - SGD 3700) – JO 28662 - Part-Time

Key Highlights:

• Office Hours: Monday-Friday
• Nearest MRT: Tanah Merah Station
• Be a part of a research team supporting correctional studies through data analysis, literature reviews, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, managing, and executing research studies focused on correctional or social rehabilitation topics.
• Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports summarising research findings.
• Collect, process, and analyse quantitative and qualitative research data.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support research activities and related requests.
• Contribute to publication support, including drafting summaries, reports, or presentation materials.
• Maintain knowledge management systems, online resources, and research documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to research and evaluation initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, psychology, criminology, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research is advantageous.
• Proficient in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, STATA, or similar) and basic statistical analyses.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
