School Laboratory Technician - Part-Time

SMMIS is recruiting a School Laboratory Technician for August 2024 to start.

The Lab Technician is responsible for providing direct technical support to the teaching and learning of science-based subjects; carry out risk assessments as appropriate, and ensuring all lab/science-based teaching activities are carried out in accordance with extant school policies and/or best practice.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Process/Applied Chemistry or in education-related field
• Evidence of appropriate in-service training
• Experience working in a school setting will be an advantage
