School Operations Executive (Yishun) - Part-Time

Job Scope:

• Morning Gate Duty/Late Coming Duty
  - Perform visual checks on students as they arrive at school, focusing on grooming, attire, hairstyle, and
  general well-being.
  - Address any issues with students not meeting school standards and report persistent non-compliance to
  the appropriate authorities.
  - Provide a welcoming presence to start the school day positively.
  - Manage latecomers according to school established SOP.

• Support teachers in class by addressing any issues with students not meeting basic school expectations and report non-compliance and disciplinary issues to the appropriate parties.

• Recess/Lunch Supervision Duty
  - Be present in the canteen during recess/lunch times to oversee student behavior.
  - Ensure a safe and orderly environment during meal breaks.
  - Intervene in conflicts and report any incidents to school authorities.
  - Address common issues such as littering, bringing food and drink out of the canteen, and rowdy noises in
  and around the canteen and common areas.
  
  
• School Grounds Patrol
  - Conduct regular patrols of school grounds to monitor student behavior.
  - Provide immediate support to teachers dealing with student misbehavior.
  - Ensure a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior.
  
  
• Toilet Checks for Smo*ing/Va*ing
  - Perform frequent checks of school toilets to identify and address cases of smo*ing or va*ing.
  - Confiscate prohibited items and report offenders according to school policy.
  - Maintain records of incidents and follow up on disciplinary actions.
  
  
• Supervision of In-House Suspension/Detention
  - Oversee students assigned to in-house suspension or detention.
  - Ensure students adhere to rules and complete assigned work.
  - Provide support and guidance to help students reflect on their behavior.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in managing discipline of secondary students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, teachers, and parents
• Firm yet respectful approach when working with students
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
