Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to assess, investigate, negotiate, and resolve Motor insurance claims. You will ensure timely and fair claim settlements, monitor claim reserves, detect potential fraud, and deliver excellent customer service while achieving cost-effective claims outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process Motor insurance claims within established turnaround times to ensure timely settlements
• Evaluate and negotiate claim resolutions proactively to mitigate damages and achieve cost-effective outcomes
• Obtain reserving, settlement, and payment approvals in accordance with assigned authority levels
• Resolve claims settlement disputes through arbitration, mediation, and other mechanisms to ensure fair outcomes
• Manage the appeal process for rejected claims to facilitate appropriate reconsideration
• Detect and investigate potential fraudulent claims to protect company assets
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding claims status and resolution to maintain high service standards
• Conduct regular file reviews and monitor claim reserves to ensure accuracy and adequacy
• Apply sound claims management practices to meet target claims performance results

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher qualification
• Possess BCP, PGI, and ComGI certifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant claims assessment experience (for Senior position)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player
