Transcribers - Part-Time

Calling Local Transcribers and/or Translators

We have a prospective project for you to transcribe audio or video in English, or Mandarin (including Singapore local Chinese dialect, such as Cantonese, Teochew, Hainanese, etc.), or Malay or Tamil into Chinese or Malay or Tamil texts, and /or then translate into English. This job can be done from home on freelance basis.

Requirements:

• Local Singaporean/PR familiar with Singapore context.
• Have excellent skills in and able to type Chinese or Malay or Tamil.
• Those having prior transcription experience have definite advantage.
• JC graduates (A level) waiting for university admission results and current university students are welcome.
• Applicants must be well-versed in MS-Office;
• Details oriented, responsive, efficient, responsible, careful and committed on-time delivery.
• If you understand any Chinese dialect(s) spoken in Singapore well, please state clearly the type of dialect and your level of understanding.
