Veterinarian (3-Months Maternity Cover) - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend to all pre-export quarantine; ensure isolation protocols are adhered prior to the export of horses.
• Attend to the cases referred from the external clubs, assess and recommend diagnosis and administer treatments.
• Rostered as Vet-on-Duty during morning sessions and after hours providing routine and emergency horse care.
• Rostered as Regulatory Vet-on-Duty on race days that fall on all weekends.
• Involve in day-to-day clinic operations including routine care, preventative medicine, patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist with surgeries, if assigned.
• Administer anaesthesia, if assigned.

Requirements:

• Licensed Veterinarian under Veterinary Authority of Singapore.
• Possess equine skills.
• Meticulous and able to adhere to procedures and instructions well.
• Strict adherence to the Veterinary and Laboratory protocols.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Hardworking.
• Required to work on weekends including public holidays when rostered.
• Must be committed for 3 months from June to August 2024 to cover in-house Veterinarian on maternity.
