Cashier Cum Shop Assistance - Part-Time

We are looking for a reliable and multi-tasking Cashier cum Shop Assistant to join our team. In this dual role, you will be the face of our store—ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers while keeping our shop floor well-stocked, organized, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Cashiering & Checkout: Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately.

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist them with locating products, and answer any inquiries with a friendly attitude.

• Stock Management: Receive incoming inventory, unpack deliveries, price items accurately, and restock shelves to ensure maximum product availability.

• Store Maintenance: Maintain neatness and cleanliness throughout the store, including the checkout counter, aisles, and display shelves.

• Inventory Tracking: Monitor product expiry dates and assist management in identifying low-stock items for reordering.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a cashier, retail assistant, or supermarket crew member is preferred, but fresh candidates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply.

• Skills: Basic numerical skills, familiarity with handling POS cash registers, and the ability to operate digital payment terminals.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move stock boxes when replenishing shelves.

• Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills to assist a diverse customer base.

• Availability: Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
