In House Legal Advisor - Part-Time

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to support the legal and regulatory requirements of our wholesale and web business. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance on contracts of corporate legal affairs while minimizing business risks and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, tenders, purchase orders.

* Provide legal advice on credit terms and commercial transactions.

* Ensure compliance with local laws.

* Handle legal notices, claims, disputes, and litigation matters in coordination with external counsel when required.

* Advise management on legal risks and recommend practical business solutions.

* Review and update company policies, terms and conditions, and legal documentation.

* Support debt recovery, payment disputes, and contract enforcement matters.

* Assist in corporate governance, company secretarial matters, and risk management initiatives.

* Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and meetings with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities when necessary.

## Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.

* Preference will be given to candidates holding a double degree (e.g., Law with Business, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines).

* Minimum 3+ years of legal experience, preferably commerial and related industries.

* Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial law.

* Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to balance legal compliance with commercial objectives.

* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
