• Involve in the project or managed services related with IT infrastructure and data centre whenever required.
• Perform Installation, Implementation, Configuration and testing of system/storage equipment & setup
• Perform OS hardening, patching and updating on servers
• Plan for migration, document and execute the migration plan
• Develop implementation plan, migration plan and acceptance test plan for the project.
• Conduct acceptance test with users and address the testing findings/issues
• Provide system architecture design and planning for new IT infrastructure deployments in both hosted and cloud environments
• Work closely with Project Managers in planning the implementation tasks
• Develop As-built documentation for handover

Skills Required

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or IT related studies
• Expertise in the IT industry with expertise in systems & security arena.
• Knowledge of networking and IP protocol
• In-depth knowledge in systems security issues
• Hands-on in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be ideal.
• IT Certification in system & storage, network, database, virtualisation, cloud technologies will be ideal.
• Good communication skills and positive working attitude.

The Successful Applicant

A successful System Engineer should have:

• A strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and networks.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and software deployment processes.
• Good documentation and organisational skills for managing technical processes.
• An ability to work within a team environment.
