1 Year UI/UX Designer (Customer-Facing E-Commerce) Up To $6200 #NKA - Part-Time

Location: Toa Payoh

Duration: 1 year (renewable/convertible)

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm

Salary: Up to $6200

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
• Design and maintain a consistent design system / component library
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centered designs
• Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the product lifecycle
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights
• Ensure designs meet accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
• Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile products
• Proven experience designing e-commerce websites or consumer-facing web platforms (online retail, marketplace, booking, food delivery, fintech consumer apps, etc.).
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
• Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
• Ability to translate user research and data into design decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to collaborate effectively with developers
• Experience with motion design / micro-interactions
• Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
