12 Months Bank IT Business Analyst #BYR - Part-Time

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support Supply Chain Financing solutions, covering both project delivery and application support for global platform releases. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, operations users, and technology teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis, impact assessment, and production incident analysis
• Gather and validate business requirements to ensure alignment with operational, technical, and security standards
• Design functional solutions, workflows, and specifications for system enhancements and fixes
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, walkthroughs, and sign-offs for requirements and proposed solutions
• Define and manage testing scope (SIT, UAT, NRT), including test planning, execution, and validation
• Support users during UAT execution, defect analysis, and prioritisation of fixes
• Prepare and review user documentation and release notes
• Support system migration, enhancement, and onboarding initiatives
• Perform functional analysis for production defects and recommend solutions
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, IT standards, and security requirements

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance, or e-Invoicing applications
• Familiarity with XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022, and data transformations
• Hands-on experience with SQL/PLSQL and Oracle databases
• Experience working with Unix/Linux environments
• Exposure to APIs, REST services, web applications, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies, middleware platforms (WebSphere/WebLogic), and frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot
• Understanding of security concepts including SSL/TLS, PKI, certificates, and authentication mechanisms
• Experience supporting production incidents and root cause analysis documentation

• Up to 10 years of experience, including 4–5 years as an IT Business Analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments with multiple stakeholders across regions
