12 Months Bank IT Business Analyst #BYR - Part-Time

Position Overview

Seeking a Business Analyst to support Supply Chain Financing solutions, focusing on project delivery and application support for global platform releases. This role works closely with product managers and operations teams across regions on requirements, solution design, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end business analysis including requirements gathering, impact analysis, and functional specifications
• Design functional solutions and user workflows, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT/security standards
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and obtain sign-offs on requirements and proposed solutions
• Define and manage testing scope (SIT, UAT, NRT), including test planning, validation, and results sign-off
• Support users in UAT execution, defect analysis, and prioritisation
• Handle production issues, perform functional analysis, and propose solutions
• Prepare and review user documentation and release notes
• Support system enhancements, migration, and onboarding initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, IT standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to solution improvements

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Finance / Trade Finance / e-Invoicing systems
• Familiarity with data formats and messaging standards (XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022)
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Understanding of APIs, REST services, and system integrations
• Exposure to web applications, microservices architecture, and high-volume systems
• Knowledge of IT security concepts (SSL/TLS, PKI, authentication)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial systems
• Strong analytical skills with ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-regional teams in a matrix environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Technical design or development exposure is an advantage
