12 Months Bank IT Project Manager #BYR - Part-Time

Position Overview

Looking for an experienced Client Integration IT Project Manager to support end-to-end onboarding of large corporate banking clients across APAC, with a focus on cash management and channel integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support complex client onboarding projects across the region, primarily for Cash Management solutions
• Manage IT implementation across banking channels (e.g. Host-to-Host, SWIFTNet, API, EBICS, proprietary platforms)
• Prepare key project deliverables including project plans, business requirements, functional specifications, and mapping documents
• Oversee testing activities and track project progress, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders
• Ensure seamless integration with client ERP systems and internal middle/back-office platforms
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, product implementation teams, and operations to ensure end-to-end delivery
• Provide support for post-implementation issues and client queries
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and onboarding initiatives

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge of file transfer protocols (e.g. SFTP, AS2, HTTPS, APIs)
• Familiarity with payment and messaging formats (ISO20022, SWIFT MT, SAP IDOC, EDIFACT)
• Understanding of IT security concepts (encryption, IP whitelisting, vulnerabilities)
• Exposure to eBanking and cash management platforms

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in client onboarding or client-facing roles within banking
• Strong knowledge of cash management products and processes
• Good understanding of banking IT systems and integration ecosystems
• Familiarity with APAC payments and reporting landscape
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to present to clients and senior stakeholders
• Analytical, structured, and able to prioritise and escalate issues effectively
• Problem-solving mindset with a client-focused approach
• Project management certification is a plus
