AI Engineer (6-Month Contract) - Part-Time

Job Summary

Join as an AI Engineer on a 6-month contract to design, develop, and deploy enterprise Generative AI applications using cutting-edge technologies like LLMs, RAG, and AI agents for leading organisations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise Generative AI applications to meet business needs
• Build and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using structured and unstructured data for improved information retrieval
• Develop AI workflows, agents, and automation to address specific business problems and increase operational efficiency
• Build scalable data pipelines and integrate AI applications with enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions aligned with project goals
• Optimise AI model performance, reliability, and scalability to maintain high-quality outputs under varying workloads

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Python programming for AI development
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) implementation
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex frameworks
• Understanding of AI Agents and Agentic AI concepts
• Experience with Azure OpenAI or other LLM platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and data engineering practices
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms
• Experience using Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes for AI application deployment
