AI Operations Executive (Government) - Part-Time

We are looking for an AI Operations & FinOps Executive to support the administration and operations of AI tools, platforms, and cloud services used across the organisation.

In this role, you will manage procurement activities, support contract administration, oversee cost tracking and chargebacks, and help improve operational efficiency through the effective use of AI tools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, processes, and emerging technologies.

Job Details:

• Location: One-North
• Working Hours: Office Hours
• Salary: Up to $5,500/month
• Duration: 1 Year (Renewal/Conversion)

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Contract Administration

• Prepare and manage procurement documents for AI tools and services, including approval papers and business justifications.
• Draft and publish procurement documents 
• Coordinate tender evaluation activities, including scheduling meetings, consolidating evaluation results, and preparing reports.
• Support contract award processes and maintain post-award documentation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  
  

Financial Operations & Cost Management

• Extract and analyse AI and cloud spending data from various platforms.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and usage summaries for stakeholders.
• Administer regular chargeback processes for AI tools, platforms, and cloud services across business units.
• Maintain records of software licences, user subscriptions, utilisation, and cost allocations.
• Work closely with Finance and business units to reconcile and process charges.
• Monitor spending trends and support cost optimisation initiatives.
  
  

AI Enablement

• Apply AI tools and automation solutions to improve work processes and productivity.
• Support the adoption of AI-driven workflows and operational best practices.

Job Requirements: 

• Experience in procurement, contract administration, finance operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools or develop simple AI-enabled workflows and automations to improve productivity.
