Application Development Manager - Part-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to oversee the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will manage application lifecycles, lead technical teams, ensure operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement while working closely with business stakeholders and vendors.

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in software development, application support, or enterprise application management.
• 3–5+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing enterprise applications.
• Experience in private banking, Financial Service domains is preferred.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integration technologies.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of security standards including OAuth2, JWT, IAM, and secure coding practices.

Functional Requirements

• Experience managing the complete application lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Experience defining SLAs, KPIs, and operational procedures.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes is preferred.
