About the Job

As an Application Lead, you will serve as a core Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for guiding the design, development, and testing of our web-based applications, core site components, and content delivery mechanics. This is a high-impact, techno-functional leadership role where you will balance hands-on full-stack development with strategic technical governance.

You will engage heavily with multiple cross-functional business units, own immediate team sprint choices, and contribute significantly to high-level architecture decisions. Additionally, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior engineers, conducting rigorous code reviews, and designing efficient, automated solutions to complex problems across adjacent application teams.

Must-Have Skills (Mandatory for Skills Matching)

• Full-Stack Developer (Java Spring Boot + Angular): Extensive, hands-on engineering experience spanning backend core logic with Spring Boot and modern frontend development with Angular (or React).

• Mobile Low-Code Architecture: Proven experience utilizing MS PowerApps for mobile platforms to drive rapid prototyping, business process automation, and internal mobile applications.

• API Engineering: Advanced proficiency in REST API Development, including API design, integration, security, and lifecycle management.

• Technical Documentation: Proven experience authoring comprehensive technical designs, functional specifications, and software architecture documentation.

• Leadership Experience: Demonstrated background in a Senior Developer, Team Lead, or supervisory capacity, with a track record of mentoring junior engineers and driving team delivery.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Python Programming: Proficiency or exposure to Python Software Development for automation workflows, scripting, or data manipulation.

• Database Design: Competency in PL/SQL for data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedures.

• Agile Methodologies: Solid understanding of Scrum/Agile frameworks, code repository management (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Strong collaborative and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge communication seamlessly between technical squads and business users.
