Automation & Data Engineer (Power Platform) - Part-Time

Salary: Up to SGD 5000 (Depending on overall skills and experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Automation & Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and e-Form solutions. The role will also involve database design, development, and ongoing maintenance to support business automation and analytics initiatives.

This role will work closely with finance and Risk Management users to deliver low-code automation and data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Power Platform Development

• Develop and maintain workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes
• Design and build dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Create and maintain Microsoft e-Forms / Power Apps forms for data capture and workflow integration
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems and APIs

2. Database Design & Management

• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability
• Develop data models to support reporting and analytics

3. Automation & Integration

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes (aligned with RPA / digital initiatives)
• Integrate Power Automate with RPA tools, SharePoint, and enterprise systems
• Support end-to-end automation solutions (data input → workflow → reporting)

4. Data & Reporting

• Build interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI
• Work with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements
• Ensure data quality and consistency across reports and systems

5. Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support for existing automation solutions and dashboards
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks
• Maintain documentation for developed solutions and data structures

6. Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and data policies
• Follow best practices for Power Platform environments, access control, and data usage

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Min 1-2 years of relevant experience in automation, data engineering, or Power Platform

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in:
• Power App
• Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboards)
• Power Automate (flows, integrations)
• Microsoft Forms (e-Form design)
• MS SharePoint online
• MS Teams
• Solid knowledge of:
• SQL / Database design (schema, normalization, indexing)
• Data modelling and ETL concepts
• Experience with:
• SharePoint, APIs, connectors
• RPA tools (UiPath) – Preferred
