Business Analyst – Payments (Corporate Banking)

• Lead business analysis activities for Corporate Banking Payments initiatives by eliciting, analysing and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements, translating them into BRDs, FSDs, user stories and acceptance criteria for payment transformation programmes.
• Drive end-to-end solution delivery across domestic and cross-border payment platforms, including SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, RTGS, SEPA and real-time payment systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with corporate banking business processes.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects and development teams to perform gap analysis, process modelling, data mapping, API integration and solution design for payment processing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation and exception management.
• Manage Agile project delivery by maintaining product backlogs, grooming user stories, coordinating Sprint activities, facilitating SIT, UAT and production implementation, while ensuring complete traceability of business requirements through to successful deployment.
• Analyse payment transactions and operational workflows using SQL and other analytical tools to identify defects, optimise processing efficiency, support root cause analysis, and recommend technology-driven improvements across payment and treasury platforms.
• Partner with regional business, operations and technology teams to deliver scalable payment solutions for Corporate and Institutional Banking, providing production support, stakeholder communication, release coordination and comprehensive project documentation using tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Visio.
