Business Analyst (BAU Support) - Part-Time

We are looking for a Business Analyst to manage Business-as-Usual (BAU) support, governance, and continuous improvement for the Procurement Policies Department (PPD) systems and EASE (Private) Portal.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, IT teams, vendors, and GovTech to ensure the smooth operation of business-critical systems while supporting enhancements and ensuring compliance with governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day BAU operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and reliability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users on system issues, service requests, and enhancement requests.
• Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with IT teams, vendors, and the Government Technology Agency (GovTech).
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and proper system usage.
• Recommend and drive continuous improvements to business processes and systems.
• Enforce governance and compliance with relevant policies and standards.
• Ensure adherence to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
• Support system enhancements and releases, including requirements analysis, testing, and deployment coordination.
• Maintain system documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
• Support data quality, reporting, and analytics to facilitate policy-making and operational insights.

Requirements

• Experience managing BAU support for enterprise applications.
• Knowledge and experience with .NET and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing vendors and supporting service delivery in an SLA-driven environment.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience independently managing IT projects within a government agency as a Project Manager or in a combined Business Analyst/Project Manager capacity.
