Business Analyst (IT, Public Sector) - Part-Time

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with public sector to look for an IT Business Analyst, who is responsible for gathering requirements, supporting IT system implementation and BAU operations, coordinating testing and project activities, and managing stakeholder and vendor engagement to ensure effective delivery and system performance.

The Talent

Requirements & Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in project management and/or business analysis, preferably in IT system implementation environments
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and testing coordination
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Experience in managing operational issues, escalation processes, and system support
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and external vendors

Nice to Have

• PMP certification (Project Management Professional)
• CBAP or similar Business Analysis certification
• Experience with systems involving multiple external integrations

Job Description

• Gather and document business and technical requirements, including user stories and system workflows
• Review existing documentation, system architecture, and processes to support solution definition
• Support project managers in tracking project progress, milestones, scope, and schedule changes
• Assist business analysts in running requirements workshops and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support system implementation, configuration, and optimisation activities
• Manage BAU operations including production issues, service requests, and escalations
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements
• Track issue resolution and help remove operational blockers
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required
