Business Analyst (Salesforce) - Part-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support a Salesforce SHIELD Proof of Concept (POC) project for a public sector initiative in Singapore.

This role will serve as the Functional Lead, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into scalable Salesforce solutions. The successful candidate will drive requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design discussions, testing activities, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

The initial engagement is for 3 months, with the potential for extension of up to 1 year based on project progression and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Serve as the Functional Lead between business stakeholders and the Salesforce delivery team.
• Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and functional requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Analyse and document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution requirements.
• Ensure business requirements are aligned with Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.

Solution Design & Functional Leadership

• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and Project Managers to design effective Salesforce solutions.
• Provide functional guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support solution walkthroughs and facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
• Ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in the solution design and implementation.

Testing & User Acceptance

• Develop and manage test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate and facilitate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work with stakeholders to validate delivered functionality against business requirements.
• Track and manage defects, issues, and change requests through resolution.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Build strong relationships with business users, project sponsors, and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops, project meetings, and solution demonstrations.
• Support change management activities, user readiness, and adoption initiatives.
• Prepare user guides, process documentation, and training materials where required.

Documentation & Governance

• Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including: Business Requirements Documents (BRD)Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Maps, Gap Analysis, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Ensure compliance with project governance standards and documentation requirements.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and requirements management practices.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for enterprise applications.
• Experience working with one or more of the following Salesforce Clouds: Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience serving as Functional Lead on Salesforce projects.
• Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce.
• Experience supporting Singapore Government or Public Sector projects.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Platform capabilities and low-code configurations.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
