Business Analyst Support, AML System Implementation/FIRCO (Banking Industry - Part-Time

Responsibilities:
The candidate will serve as BA support within the compliance department, focusing on the replacement of the transaction filtering system using Firco, including sanction list management. Given that AML is a zero-tolerance field, the candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of business operations and regulatory requirements. The role also involves close coordination with branches, head office, and other departments to ensure smooth implementation and knowledge transfer.

Key Tasks

• Requirement definition: Design the “To-Be” process based on “As-Is” inputs, ensuring alignment with multiple stakeholders.
• Task planning: Develop and manage on-ground schedules for compliance user tasks.
• Vendor communication: Translate business requirements effectively to both IT teams and external vendors.
• Stakeholder engagement: Provide clear explanations to branches and head office regarding the new system and updated workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in a banking environment, with expertise in the FIRCO system and AML transaction screening.
• Business-level proficiency in English, with strong skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as a team player.
• Experience working with or coordinating alongside Japanese companies, which will be advantageous for stakeholder engagement.
