Cloud DevOps Engineer - Part-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and cloud security to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure architecture, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the security and operational reliability of our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & DevOps Engineering:

• Design, implement, test, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or equivalent frameworks.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage cloud environments including provisioning, deployment, and scaling.
• Perform ongoing security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability mitigation, and incident response.
• Provide operational support and perform regular maintenance for platform infrastructure.

Documentation & Support:

• Create and maintain technical design documentation for infrastructure and DevOps architecture.
• Develop operational runbooks, deployment manuals, and backup/restore plans.
• Prepare and update security architecture documentation and related security policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to development and QA teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with AWS Cloud services and architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with IaC tools, particularly AWS CDK.
• Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty) are advantageous.
