Cloud Engineer / AliCloud Specialist - Part-Time

We have an immediate requirement for a Cloud Engineer / AliCloud Specialist on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role sits within our client’s APAC digital function and plays a key role in delivering, supporting, and optimising cloud initiatives across the region, with a strong focus on AliCloud platform delivery, cloud operations, automation, and capability enhancement. Role Overview

This is a hands-on mid-level engineering role supporting the delivery and ongoing enhancement of AliCloud-based infrastructure and services across APAC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions while working closely with regional and global technology teams. The role requires a strong blend of cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure management, and operational support capabilities.

• Driving automation, operational efficiency, and cloud optimisation
• Collaborating with global IT teams, regional stakeholders, and external technology partners

• Support cloud migration, application deployment, and integration activities
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across production and non-production environments
• Collaborate with regional and global technology teams to align with cloud architecture and governance standards
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and DevOps practices
• Develop technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing activities
• Act as a technical contributor across key cloud initiatives within the APAC region

Key Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or related technology roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AliCloud (preferred) or equivalent experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP with the ability to transition platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture including compute, networking, storage, security, and identity management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps tooling
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience supporting enterprise production environments
• Experience working in enterprise, regional, or multi-country technology environments
• Based in Singapore or able to work full-time on-site in Singapore
• Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred for regional collaboration

Key Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or related technology roles

• Strong hands-on experience with AliCloud (preferred) or equivalent experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP with the ability to transition platforms
