Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Part-Time

Role Scope

Manage and maintain the organization's cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), ensuring it is secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available. The role focuses on infrastructure operations, cloud platform management, automation, observability, disaster recovery, and collaborating with application teams to support business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
• Monitor system health using observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting) and proactively resolve issues.
• Implement automation and DevOps practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with application teams to support deployments and maintain resilient infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Drive disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency initiatives, including RTO, RPO, failover testing, and service availability objectives.
• Manage vendor performance through KPIs, SLAs, and contractual compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, cloud operations, DevOps, automation, and observability tools.
• Experience in high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resiliency.
• Ability to manage infrastructure projects and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• AWS and/or Azure certifications are highly advantageous.
