Cyber Security Engineer (Operations), Bonus, Kallang - Part-Time

The role involves managing and maintaining the organization’s cybersecurity operations across the following areas:

• Network Security Management – including intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and virtual private networks (VPNs)
• Web Security Management – including URL filtering and web application firewalls (WAF)
• Endpoint Security Management – including anti-malware, device control, application control, data loss prevention (DLP), and network access control (NAC)
• Messaging Security Management – including anti-malware, anti-spam, and content filtering solutions
• Security & Vulnerability Management – including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), security device management, and vulnerability assessments for systems and applications
• Automation – streamlining and automating routine security operations and management tasks

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing enterprise-level security solutions
• Proven experience in implementation and integration of cybersecurity platforms
• Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of security domains, including:
• Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption
• Linux and Windows operating systems
• Databases, antivirus solutions, and patch management
• Vulnerability scanning and remediation
• Backup and recovery processes
• Logging, monitoring, and SIEM tools
• Remote access technologies
• Application and network security
• Secure application development and change management
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM will be an added advantage
