Cyber Security Engineer - Part-Time

Overview: The Cloud Security Engineer will ensure security, integrity, and compliance of Azure cloud infrastructures. You will deploy security measures, conduct log analysis, and respond to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have experience in platform security operations and proficiency in Azure security tools.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage platform security measures across cloud infrastructures, primarily focusing on Azure.

• Utilize Azure security tools such as Sentinel and Defender for Cloud.

• Deploy and configure endpoint security solutions and firewalls.

• Conduct log analysis using Log Analytics to identify security threats.

• Implement and maintain Imperva and CyberArk solutions for additional security layers.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into architecture.

• Monitor and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis.

• Provide training on security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• Experience in platform security operations, with Azure focus.

• Proficiency in Azure security tools (Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender for Cloud, Endpoint Security, Cyber Ark, Firewall Management, Log Analytics)

• Strong understanding of endpoint security principles.

• Knowledge of AWS security tools are a plus.

• Excellent communication skills.

This is a 12-month contract role.
