Data Analyst - Tableau/PowerBI/Retail - Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business users and stakeholders to gather, understand, and document data and reporting requirements.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights within retail datasets.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
• Transform complex data into intuitive visualizations tailored to business needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data and align outputs with business objectives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), iterate based on feedback, and ensure successful deployment of dashboards.
• Provide post-deployment support and continuously enhance dashboards based on evolving requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Tableau and Power BI (senior-level proficiency).
• Solid understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation and quality checks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with retail data such as sales, inventory, customer behavior, and merchandising analytics.
• Familiarity with SQL and data querying techniques.
• Exposure to end-to-end dashboard lifecycle: requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support.
