Data Analytics & Risk Support Analyst_Contract - Part-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analytics and Risk Support Analyst to join the IT & Compliance Team. This role will support the Network team by responding to audit queries, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Network Engineering, excellent analytical skills, and experience working within banking technology, risk, or audit environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Network team in responding to audit requests and queries raised by internal and external auditors.
• Analyze and validate network-related data to support audit, compliance, and risk management activities.
• Prepare accurate reports, dashboards, and documentation using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Track and manage audit findings, action items, and project updates using JIRA.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Audit stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
• Maintain documentation to support regulatory reviews, governance requirements, and internal controls.
• Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or control gaps and escalate where appropriate.
• Ensure adherence to banking regulatory standards and internal compliance policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Data Network Engineering or a related network infrastructure role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA for tracking tasks, projects, or audit activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT audits, technology risk, or regulatory compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of banking technology governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Experience working directly with auditors and responding to audit observations or regulatory enquiries.
