Data Integration Engineer - Part-Time

We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and go-live of enterprise business solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, system integrators, functional teams, technical teams, data teams, and project stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions within a structured implementation framework. This role requires strong hands-on experience in data engineering, SQL, databases, data integration, data loading, data validation, data integrity checks, troubleshooting, and production support. The candidate should also have functional knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement processes and be able to guide customers and system integrators on complex data and integration requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or contribute to the end-to-end implementation of enterprise data integration and platform solutions.
• Work closely with customers and system integrators during the design phase to provide leading-practice recommendations and demonstrate product capabilities.
• Lead or contribute to solution design activities, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Configure the solution from the user interface using available configuration tools.
• Guide customers and system integrators on complex business, technical, data, and integration requirements.
• Manage data loads across development, testing, migration, and production environments.
• Perform data integrity checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
• Conduct data mapping, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cleansing activities.
• Use SQL to troubleshoot technical issues, analyse data, validate business rules, and perform advanced configuration.
• Work with SQL and other databases to support implementation, configuration, integration, testing, and production support activities.
• Debug technical issues, identify root causes, and resolve defects across data, configuration, integration, and application layers.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect resolution, and production readiness testing.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to data loads, mappings, validations, configurations, issue resolutions, and integration processes.
• Oversee and contribute to delivery and deployment planning to ensure smooth and successful go-lives.
• Support cutover planning, production data loads, deployment activities, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Contribute to Project Management Office activities, including status reporting, issue tracking, risk identification, planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Manage client relationships professionally and ensure effective communication with customers and project stakeholders.
• Escalate project risks, technical issues, blockers, and dependencies in a timely manner.
• Drive assigned deliverables independently and ensure outcomes are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Data Engineering, data integration, data migration, database configuration, or enterprise implementation roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working with other databases and software configuration tools.
• Experience in data loading, data validation, data integrity checks, data reconciliation, and data cleansing.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, migration, quality checks, and integration processes.
• Experience in enterprise application implementation, system integration, or large-scale data migration projects.
• Ability to debug technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve defects.
• Experience supporting system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Functional knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement processes.
• Experience working directly with customers, system integrators, functional consultants, technical teams, data teams, and project managers.
