Data Loss Prevention Security Consultant (Forcepoint Proofpoint) - Part-Time

Responsibilities

- Monitor for and respond to events generated from clients data protection technology suite that involve loss of consumer data, employee data, business sensitive data, and/or intellectual property

- Accurately identify and escalate DLP events based on sensitivity of data types

- Understand and follow established data protection incident response playbooks

- Identify opportunities to improve existing monitoring and response processes

- Support the development and testing of newly created DLP policies and detection logic

- Collect and analyze DLP event metrics to identify trends and define/maintain KPIs and metric reporting.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Engineering or equivalent

• Demonstrate a good level of understanding of cyber security operations

• An ability to manage and execute requirements such as the implementation, integration and upgrade of security solutions

• Gained at least 1-Security Certifications (i.e CISSP, CISM, Certified DLP professional and etc) would be an advantage

• Ability to provide solutions and recommendations on projects

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with leading DLP platforms such as Symantec DLP, McAfee DLP, Forcepoint DLP, Proofpoint DLP.

• Experience in deploying DLP policies, rules, and alerts within network and endpoint platforms to safeguard sensitive data.
