Data Scientist (AI / Machine Learning / Cloud) - Part-Time

We are partnering with a reputable organisation in Singapore to hire an experienced Data Scientist. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale AI and data science initiatives, leveraging machine learning, cloud technologies, and Generative AI to solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning and AI solutions for real-world business problems.
• Build predictive models using statistical modelling, machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Develop and maintain production-ready ML pipelines and cloud-based AI applications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can drive better decision making.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers and Product teams to build scalable data solutions.
• Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, optimisation and continuous model improvement.
• Develop Generative AI solutions using modern LLM frameworks and vector databases where applicable.
• Present findings and recommendations through effective storytelling and data visualisation.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 4 years of hands-on Data Science experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong programming experience in Python and SQL.
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models into production.
• Good understanding of statistical modelling, predictive analytics and feature engineering.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with modern Data Engineering concepts including ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes and distributed data processing.
• Strong understanding of MLOps and model lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
