Data Scientist Intern (AI Analyst Intern) - Part-Time

This internship offers a unique blend of business analysis and data science exploration within the AI landscape. As a Data Scientist Intern (AI Analyst Intern), you'll conduct market research to identify key industry challenges addressable by AI, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to data analysis and development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market desktop research across diverse industries to identify and articulate key business pain points that AI/ML solutions can potentially address.
• Research business opportunities and bridge the gap between AI and business for customers.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers and Analysts to understand the technical requirements and feasibility of proposed AI/ML solutions.
• Assist in exploratory design and development of functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts for identified AI/ML applications.
• Experiment with different AI/ML libraries, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and relevant technologies to implement prototype functionalities.
• Document the design, development process, and performance of the prototypes, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a highly related field is required.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with relevant data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques or projects.
• Prior experience (academic, internship, or project-based) in market research, business analysis, or a similar function, with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Good to have experience in building and testing small-scale applications or prototypes (academic projects, personal projects, or contributions to open-source projects are acceptable).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to engage in analytical reasoning are essential.
• A strong drive to continuously learn and adapt to the evolving landscape of AI technologies and methodologies is essential.
• A proactive, curious, and experimental mindset, with a demonstrated passion for innovation and problem-solving.
• Able to commit to a 6 months full time internship duration.
• This is a full work-from-office (WFO) internship.
