Desktop Engineer SGD 2,800 – SGD 3,400 1 Year Contract - Part-Time

About the role :

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading IT services providers, and we are currently hiring for a Desktop Engineer role.

As part of the IT support team, you will be responsible for providing onsite desktop support to end users, ensuring smooth daily IT operations. The role involves managing user support requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining desktop and laptop systems to meet service level expectations.

You will play an important role in resolving IT incidents, supporting end users, performing device setup and maintenance, and ensuring a positive user experience within an enterprise environment

📍Location: Singapore

💰Salary: Up to S$3,500 (based on experience)

📚Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support to end users.

• Receive, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve IT support requests.

• Install, configure, and re-image desktops and laptops.

• Perform hardware/software troubleshooting and basic IT maintenance.

• Maintain and update incident tickets to meet SLA requirements.

• Conduct IT asset inventory and device management.

• Escalate complex issues to third-party vendors or resolver teams when necessary.

• Create and update work instructions, documentation, and standard operating procedures.

📌Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience in Desktop Support, IT Helpdesk, or End User Computing is preferred.

• Familiar with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, hardware troubleshooting, and imaging.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Customer-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
