DevSecOps Engineer - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end infrastructure, automation, and security solutions across the organisation.
• Design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Develop automation to deploy, manage, scale, and monitor applications across data centre and cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, change management workflows, and release automation processes.
• Provision and manage virtual machines, databases, application containers, licenses, and cloud infrastructure for development teams.
• Implement configuration management, disaster recovery automation, business continuity, system backup, and restore processes.
• Deploy monitoring and observability tools to track infrastructure performance, utilisation, health, bottlenecks, and service availability.
• Troubleshoot system, application, infrastructure, and security issues, including vulnerability assessments, system hardening, threat assessments, and critical incident escalations.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of relevant DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, TDD, CI/CD, high-availability systems, hybrid cloud environments, and secure infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go, and Git-based development workflows.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, automated provisioning tools, virtualisation technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Knowledge of CNCF tools such as Prometheus, Helm, Argo CD, Istio, Gatekeeper, or Cross plane.
• Exposure to enterprise security tools, government or regulated environments, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks, API security, secrets management, or zero-trust architecture will be advantageous.
