Director - FSBU - Part-Time

Job Descriptions:

• Lead to develop IT business (system integration business or any other new business) to Japanese financial institution customers continuously.
• Establish Business Unit mid-term business plan align with IT strategy of Japanese bank customer in APAC.
• Design own team expansion plan (functionalities and resources).
• Govern overall BU business and achieve goals of mid-term business plan.
• Manage higher priority IT implementation projects, collaborating with HQ in Japan and other countries within NEC group.
• Report to Business Unit Head timely.
• Enhance Team members’ capability with effective coaching and strategic hiring.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience as an IT engineer of medium to large company, especially Japanese financial institution.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in IT project management for customers in Japanese financial institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management in Asian region.
• Knowledge of project management software tools (e.g. Excel, MS Project, JIRA).
• Proven ability to work in large groups.
• Basic knowledge of Banking domain in Singapore (e.g. MAS regulation).
• Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate team members.
• Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to write professionally in Japanese.
• Proficiency in the Japanese language (JLPT N1) to liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese customers.
