Dotnet Developer RPA, Blueprism - Part-Time

The role is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the RPA Platform, ensuring a secure, stable, and reliable environment for enterprise automation. The incumbent will lead infrastructure-related activities, support governance and compliance requirements, manage platform upgrades and enhancements, and provide technical expertise for strategic initiatives such as the migration of the RPA Platform out of VMware and ongoing platform modernization efforts. The role also involves working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to deliver and maintain scalable automation capabilities that support the organization's business and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

•Administer, maintain, and support the RPA Platform infrastructure, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), servers, and related platform components.

•Monitor platform health, perform troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions to ensure platform stability and availability.

•Support governance, risk, and compliance activities, including participation in weekly GRC discussions and remediation of platform-related findings.

•Work with vendors and infrastructure teams to implement platform enhancements, upgrades, and security improvements.

•Support the migration of RPA workloads and infrastructure out of VMware, including environment setup, testing, validation, and deployment activities.

•Design, build, configure, and maintain VDI environments required for the RPA Platform.

•Support Blue Prism platform administration, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and environment management.

•Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and technical configurations to ensure knowledge retention and maintainability.

•Provide technical support to project teams and operational users for platform-related incidents and service requests.

•Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities.

• Collaborate with project teams on strategic platform initiatives, including platform modernization and future migration programmes

Technical and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computing, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working with Blue Prism RPA platforms, including platform administration, configuration, or support.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET application development and support.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting or managing enterprise IT platforms and infrastructure in a production environment.
• Familiarity with virtualized environments, VDI, or infrastructure migration projects is an advantage.
• Understanding of IT governance, security, and operational best practices is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
